For confident players
A deeper dive for players who want to sharpen their game, with focused time on reading the table and making smarter choices mid-hand.
Bridgette Clyne started Mahjong Mingle in 2024, teaching American mahjong around Greensboro. Chloe Rothstein joined her, and it has only grown from there. Today they teach together, and they play competitively too, so the strategy you learn here comes straight from the table.
Their favorite part is watching players grow: from never having touched a tile, to reading the table and playing with strategy, all the way to holding their own in a competitive game.

Just yourself. We provide the tiles and everything you need for class, and you will go home with a printable to keep practicing.
Absolutely. Plenty of players come solo and leave with new friends. If you are coming with friends, tables seat four, so let us know if you would like to sit together.
Many players take Mahjong 102 next. You can also practice at guided open play, where an instructor stays close by while you play.
Yes. Private group lessons are perfect for friends who want to learn together. Plan a private lesson
